As we prepare to embrace the next turning of the Wheel of the Year and honor the Autumn Equinox, join us for our next Pottery Ritual Workshop.

We will honor this Season of Harvest by making our own Harvest Plate.

This class is the perfect introduction to hand building with clay! Make your own decorative…yet fully functional dish to serve your delicious edibles on! Perfect for Tapas, appetizers or dinner parties.  You’ll serve those incredible recipes of yours on handmade dishes you created!

During this workshop you will practice texture printing on slabs then the molding into dish forms and adding decorative elements. Each participant will create small individualized dishes or one large tray.

We will also move through a ritual, where we will offer gratitude towards the closing season of Summer and reflect back on our lives since the last Equinox, six months ago in March with the onset of Spring. Then journey into a Gratitude and Harvest Ritual to welcome in the Autumn Equinox Ritual. Everyone will leave with a tool to continue to tend towards over this season upon us.

This class is for ages 16+ and price for the class includes clay, firing and glazing of you dish.  Space is limited therefore, preregistration is required. All pieces will be ready for pick up 6 weeks following the class date.
