Wild Feminine BOOK GROUP

Hello to you. Thank you for being here.

This feels so sacred to be preparing to gather with you in our virtual cocoon to explore 'Wild Feminine' over the next many weeks.

This book is one that personally changed my life both in my relationship with my own body and the trajectory of the work I do in the world. I didn't know anything about it when I picked it up off the shelf at my favorite bookstore in Seattle. I brought it back to my apartment, put it on my own bookshelf and weeks later, it fell onto the floor. When I picked the book up, it opened to a page about the energy carried within the ovaries. Time stood still for a moment (or many), and with that nudge, I knew it was time to start connecting to and befriending my own body.

I have read this book many times over the last decade and I find there is always something new to explore or a new perspective to attune towards.

Although we all have led different lives with a spectrum of diverse experiences through our journeys of womanhood, we have a shared thread that brings us together.

The explorations and conversations are accessible to all of us regardless if we have given birth to babies or not, regardless if we have our physical reproductive organs or not, regardless if we are in our bleeding years or relishing in our wise women crone years, regardless if we feel connected or disconnected from our bodies.

Beneath all of it lies a precious invitation to come into ceremony to honor the potent, magnificent, resilient and beautiful feminine beings that we are.

My intention through our journey is that we move forward with curiosity and reverence for the divine self-care we can access through this Wild Feminine Journey.
