Welcome to desert MAGIC: A Women’s Wellness ReSPITE in the New Mexico Desert

Taos, New Mexico is a very special place in the world (it holds a big piece of my heart). It’s in the high desert of Northern New Mexico. Above us is the vast sky that comes alive at night with the stars. There is a sacred stillness of the high desert that finds its way back into our hearts and bodies.

Late September is an incredibly beautiful time to explore and visit this Land of Enchantment.

The Aspens are beginning to turn, and there is a dance with the closing of Summer and Autumn brewing. The mornings are cooler and the sun warms the land during the day. It’s delicious sleeping weather.

Desert Magic is an invitation to reconnect with Mother Earth and the elements, your own being and our nourishing community. Over the course of our soul-nourishing days, you’ll be held in a container of deep care and connection, surrounded by the natural beauty of New Mexico.

Taos is nestled in the world’s largest alpine valley and is surrounded by the majestic Sangre de Cristo mountains, amidst high desert landscape. This sacred land has been home to indigenous tribes for thousand of years.

Together we’ll relish in nourishing our bodies and our spirits. We'll savor the moments through sharing nourishing meals, move our bodies through nourishing practices, welcoming in the desert air into our lungs, soak in the mineral-rich waters of Ojo Caliente, explore the land on horseback, take in the beauty of the High Desert on hikes, visit the creative shopping center of downtown Taos, create quiet space for ourselves. soften into the essence of our senses, stargaze into the vast sky and honor just where we are on this journey of life.

Come home to your body, your breath, and the beauty of the desert located in the Land of Enchantment of New Mexico.

WHERE WE WILL STAY:

We will be nestled away in the sweet historic art village of Arroyo Secco, just minutes from downtown Taos, New Mexico.

What is included:

  • 5 nights/5 days of accommodations in Taos, New Mexico

  • Arrival dinner on Friday + Nourishing Meals (Saturday - Tuesday) + Departure Breakfast on Wednesday

  • Daily women's movement, breath and rituals with Kate (all optional to be part of)

  • Horseback riding adventure

  • Soak at Ojo Caliente mineral springs

  • Visit to historic downtown Taos (time for shopping, exploring art galleries and snacking)

  • ‘For the Love of Chocolate’ Cacao Ceremony with Helen Knight

  • Hike (optional)

  • Visit the Rio Grande Bridge + local trail

  • Roundtrip group airport transportation between Albuquerque and Taos on arrival 9/25 & departure 9/30

  • All group transport to excursions
