Spring: the seasonal of renewal from the inside out.
It’s a time to slowly awaken from our winter slumbers. A time where the greenery emerges, flowers begin to bloom, and the buds on trees slowly develop. The energy starts to build as we move closer to summer. But let’s not jump too far ahead. As we make the transition through this season, it’s a divine time to cleanse. renew and refresh all the inner landscape of our bodies.
Our time together will be devoted to a whole body exploration of restoring the vital energy from within through movement, food/herbs and deep nourishment for the nervous sytem, immune system and digestive health.
We will connect over ZOOM for our retreat. You will also receive a toolkit of recipes and practices to continue to explore, along with the recording of the retreat, afterwards.
.
During this journey, we will explore:
-Yoga and Movement-based Practice to support boosting the immune system, stimulating the lymphatic system and enhancing whole body radiance from the inside out.
-Radiance Cocoon Chat Kate will dive into a whole body tune-up and tune into restoring the nervous system, encouraging natural detoxification through the body and enhancing immune support. This will be a way to build a self-care toolkit that you can return to over and over again.
-Using Medicinal Weeds and Herbal Crafting with Georgia. Georgia will share with some simple and accessible ways to incorporate incredibly local medicinal weeds and talk more about their properties
Spring is an incredible time to nourish our bodies with fresh greens, giving us a vibrant change from our winter diets that are typically heavier. Nature provides for us in this beautiful way by sending out weeds that are edible! I bet you can spot them in your backyard or at your closest park. Our friends Chickweed, Violet, Dandelion, Plantain, and Cleavers are growing all around us if we just stop and take a look. Here are the parts of the plants that we can eat.
Chickweed- leaf & stem
Violets- leaf & flower
Dandelions- leaf & flower
