-Stimulates natural detoxification in the liver

-Supports lymphatic stimulation and drainage in the body

-Supports uterine and ovarian health as it can help dissolve cysts and fibroids

-Antimicrobial (antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal)

-Supports lowering cholesterol levels in the body

-Offers anti-inflammatory properties and can relieve inflamed joints due to arthritis, nerve inflammation and sore muscles

Supplies you will need:

Cold Pressed Castor Oil

Large Bath towel

Two small bath towels (one will be moistened with warm water, one will be dry)

Infrared Heating Pad (Ideally over other heating pads)

Much of the above is for protection from the castor which is sticky, messy and stains.

Directions for Castor Oil Packs:

-Prepare your bed or couch by placing an old towel where you are going to lie down.

-Pour castor oil over intended area of the body such as lower belly/over the liver and gallbladder for detoxification (the liver sits under the right rib cage) and gently spread onto skin.

**This equates to about a large spoonful over each the liver and lower belly. It is dense and will spread over the skin.

-Put a warm, damp towel over the area first. Then cover with dry towel **You can also use a heating pad over the dry towel but not over a wet one.

-Keep it all on for at least 30 minutes and try to do it a few times a week. (2-3 days in a row).

-Use this time to relax and dedicate the time to self-care & self-love.

Spend this time reading, writing in a journal, breathing, meditating, praying, or whatever works for you. If possible, try to make this a quiet self-care time for yourself without the distractions of email or phone.

**Please note that castor oil is very dense and may stain clothing. You might want to dedicate specific clothes and blankets/towels for this.
